At first I only thought of Norway as our entering and exit point, a place where we can gather our thoughts before we continue on. But once I realized we will be spending a few days there at the start and a few days there at the end I started looking for things to keep us busy, and now I've found that we won't be spending nearly enough time there to see all the amazing sights Norway has to offer.
So we'll start in Norway... but then where?
With so many places Europe has to offer its been difficult to narrow down our list of destinations, and nothing is set in stone. I always thought that flying over seas would cost way too much for me to ever afford, and so adventures abroad were put into the "If I ever win the lottery" category of wishes.
That is until I scrolled by this post on Pinterest. I've lived in Michigan for my entire life, and growing up my parents put a lot of effort, planning, and savings into making sure that we traveled every year. Often it was to go visit family in Florida, a few trips to Tennessee, and some scattered vacations around the midwest. Sadly the closest I've been to leaving the states was a wrong turn that ended up with a few friends and I making a U-turn at the Canadian border patrol.
