I always thought that flying over seas would cost way too much for me to ever afford, and so adventures abroad were put into the "If I ever win the lottery" category of wishes. That is until I scrolled by this post on Pinterest.
They recommended flying out of JFK, LAX, OAK, and FLL. Then flying into places like Stockholm, Oslo, or Copenhagen, using Norwegian Air. The savings were amazing when I tested it out myself. It would cost me just about $500 to fly to London from Detroit. Whereas if I flew to Oslo, where I could wander around and enjoy the sights for a day or two before hopping over to London for just under $300. The excitement that built after this discovery exploded into a month-long backpacking trip through Europe, all starting in Olso, Norway.
It opened the door to Europe for me. |
